Intervention
Misconceptions about mental health are very common. Even in most educated circles, mental health concerns are viewed in very bad light. These misconceptions are reasons for the debilitating social stigma faced by people suffering from mental health problems. As a result, people with mental health concerns are reluctant to accept their condition and seek requisite professional help that would allow them to lead a happy, meaningful and productive life. The course allows participants to enroll in a program that helps them understand the causes of mental health problems, the active measures that act as a protective factor and ways to deal with mental health problems. The focus is to equip individuals to be competent and mentally healthy leaders. These participants will further provide leadership and direction to strengthen mental health promotion programs at their workplace.
